Mechanical Engineering Technology Student Development (26-8850)

Students gain very worthwhile experiences through extracurricular and enrichment activities. The department would like to significantly expand its support for special field trips, national student competitions and other professional development activities for students.

Mechanical Engineering Technology Department Excellence (26-8840)

It is essential that the department increase support that will allow faculty to maintain and expand their knowledge in the field of MET and introduce state-of-the-art technology into the classroom and laboratories. Such funding would allow MET faculty to attend conferences, purchase new equipment, learn new teaching techniques, etc.

Mechanical Engineering Technology Lab (26-8820)

MET depends on the contacts that develop between students, faculty and Oklahoma businesses to identify the industry trends that are so important to keep our curriculum relevant. This support will allow the department the ability to expand and further integrate equipment design, prototype development and industry liaison.
