It is essential that the department increase support that will allow faculty to maintain and expand their knowledge in the field of chemical engineering and introduce state-of-the-art technology into the classroom and laboratories. Such funding would allow Chemical Engineering faculty to attend conferences, purchase new equipment, learn new teaching techniques, etc.

The School would like to increase support to recruit the best students into the Chemical Engineering graduate program and reward the most academically outstanding students.
