School of Teaching and Curriculum Leadership
International Education Outreach - Funds are needed to support varied international outreach efforts including (a) stipends or scholarships to defray the expenses of student teachers who are selected to complete their clinical practice in international settings (Costa Rica, England, & Belize), (b) funds to assist faculty travel to international sites to establish collaborative relationships and identify research and teaching opportunities, and (c) funds to develop faculty and student exchange programs with international partners. Immediate Need - $50,000 annually
Goal - $1M endowment
Multicultural Fair – Annual funding is needed to cover the costs of Multicultural Fair experience that is coordinated through OSU COE for all Stillwater 4th grade students. This project is a collaborative effort of Secondary foreign language program, elementary education, social studies program, K-12 art program, and volunteers from all student education organizations.

Joe Siebers Memorial Scholarship in Occupational Education – This scholarship honors one of our doctoral students who died suddenly last year. Students have raised $2,000 so far to honor their lost friend. Immediate Need - $5,000 annually

Rural Reading Research and Professional Development Center – Funds are needed to support ongoing, collaborative research on reading achievement for children in rural schools. This research will be used to develop and provide targeted professional development for teachers working in rural schools.
