A deanship is an excellence fund which allows a college to recruit and retain the most eminent scholars and leaders to the deanship post while providing an excellence fund.  The excellence fund allows a dean to take full advantage of the unique opportunities available to the college to transform the college’s unit into a premier academic institution. 

 Deanship Needs:

Endowed deanships are needed within every OSU college and unit.

 Endowment Minimums:

Each deanship position is endowed at a minimum of $5 million and is eligible for a dollar-for-dollar match by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
