“We conducted an extensive search for this critical position and are extremely pleased to have found someone with Kathy's skills, ability and tremendous personal and professional experience in agriculture,” said Gary Clark, OSU Foundation vice president of general counsel and OSU agriculture alumnus. “Kathy will relate extremely well with all who are interested in assisting OSU to advance agriculture and natural resources.” |

The division is comprised of the OSU College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and two statewide agencies: the Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station system and the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service.
“I’m excited about working on behalf of the division and serving its many stakeholders,” McNally said. “Collectively, the division’s programs affect the lives of people on local, statewide, regional, national and international scales.”
McNally will be responsible for the identification, cultivation and solicitation of major gift prospects, as well as maintaining ongoing relationships with DASNR supporters and its teaching, research and Extension programs.
“Kathleen has a great background for this important position and possesses a wealth of experience in working with individuals, groups, agencies and organizations throughout Oklahoma and beyond,” said Robert E. Whitson, vice president of agricultural programs at OSU and DASNR dean and director.
To help the division meet its state and federally mandated mission to improve the quality of life for Oklahomans, McNally will solicit major prospects and oversee fundraising programs by others, including administration, faculty and key volunteers.
McNally comes to OSU from the Oklahoma Farm Bureau, where she has served as vice president of field services since 1992. She previously served as the organization’s director of national affairs from 1989 to 1992, as a field representative for northwestern and north central Oklahoma from 1978 to 1992 and as assistant director of the bureau’s information division from 1975 to 1978.
Prior to joining the bureau, McNally worked as an information assistant with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture from 1973 to 1975.
She served as a member of DASNR’s Dean’s Advisory Committee from 1997 to 1999, helping to ensure that division programs and activities target issues and concerns important to Oklahomans. She has also served on the Oklahoma Certified Crops Advisors Board and the State 4-H Horse Council.
A Cowboy alumna, McNally earned her Master of Science degree in interdisciplinary science from OSU in 1994. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural communications from Michigan State University in 1973.
