Dean and Carol Stringer, of Oklahoma City, have established an endowment to provide perpetual maintenance and updating for one of the OSU Library’s new group study rooms. The room will be named in their honor during a dedication ceremony on Oct. 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in front of the Dean and Carol Stringer Study Room in the Edmon Low Library.
“Carol and I are pleased to make this gift. The study rooms improve the OSU Library and should be of particular benefit to students. What a perfect cause,” said Dean Stringer, President of the Friends of the OSU Library.
Dean and Carol graciously donated $50,000, which will be endowed to maintain the study room with periodic replacement of furniture and adding appropriate equipment and technology in the future. |
