Where were you employed before joining the OSUF?
Before I joined the OSU Foundation, I was serving as the corporate gifts coordinator for the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, Okla.
Why did you choose to join the Foundation?
Once I made the career move to fundraising, I kept my sights on working for the OSU Foundation. As an OSU graduate, I couldn’t imagine a better position than helping my alma mater.
What does your typical day look like?
5:45 a.m. – wake up and get myself and family ready
7:15 a.m. – commute to Stillwater or take the girls to school
8:30 a.m. – spend the day in various meetings with donors, direct reports, my supervisor or colleagues
5:00 p.m. – drive home and chauffer my children around to their activities
7:00 p.m. – dinner with my family
9:00 p.m. – work for about an hour checking email and finishing up the day’s projects

What are some of the joys and challenges you face in your position?
One of my greatest joys is working with our development officers to meet the many people who are connected to OSU. We all work together to make dreams come true for the students of OSU.
One of the greatest challenges in my position is not having enough time in the day to get all of my ideas implemented.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I attend OSU sporting events with friends and family. My family is very important to me and I usually am doing things with them. My selfish time includes gardening, reading and making scrapbooks.
What do you recommend visitors or newcomers do in Stillwater?
Attending OSU events is a big part of the Stillwater experience, along with eating at Eskimo Joe’s and Hideaway Pizza.
What projects/campaigns/etc are you most excited about in the coming year?
In the coming year, I am very excited about helping raise funds for various library projects, the Student Union renovation, equipment for the OSU-Tulsa Helmerich Advanced Technology Research Center, OSU medical school’s Forensic Institute, OSU-OKC’s Project Second Chance and more. There are so many exciting projects at OSU that it is hard to pick just one!
What’s the number one reason you would recommend joining the OSU Foundation?
When people ask me about working for the OSU Foundation, I continually tell people that it is life-changing. When I joined the Foundation team, I knew that I was going to be doing worthwhile work. However, I did not realize that I would make lifelong friendships, or have the opportunity to have self-improvement through educational opportunities. Truly, working for the OSU Foundation has changed my life.
